This year the Triple A All-Star Game and Homerun Derby just happened to be in Portland, and we got a GREAT deal on tickets ($10 apiece), so of course we had to go! It was a blast.
They had these incredible Chinese gymnasts for entertainment partway through the Homerun Derby. (By the way...if you're not a baseball fan, homerun derbies are still a blast! Basically they just have the best hitters from all the teams in that division try to hit as many homeruns as possible as quickly as possible. Much faster and cooler than when pitchers are trying to make them hit as few balls as possible.)
