We spent Easter with Erik's family and went up to Spokane to spend it with his Grandpa. I made these adorable Easter Basket cupcakes to take to everyone. I thought they turned out great!! :)
Easter was great. We went to Erik's uncle's 50th birthday party, saw our friends' new house, and spent some good time with Grandpa and went to the cemetary a couple times to see visit his Grandma's grave. We had a minor mishap when we were driving back to the Tri-Cities from Spokane and 2 giant sheets of plywood flew off a vehicle in front of us and hit Erik's dad's vehicle (scary, but we were all okay, thanks to Ed's evasive driving action--a cracked bumper was the only damage--it could have been MUCH worse), but otherwise the trip was fun and pretty uneventful. Happy Easter! :)
