Congrats, Tana and Devin (and Baby Joslin)!

My friends, Tana and Devin, are having a baby!! S/he *could* come on my birthday, since Tana is due on July 17th, so that's exciting! :) I can't wait to meet and snuggle this new little one! (You know me, I'm a sucker for babies.) They aren't finding out if s/he is a boy or a girl--they want to be surprised at the delivery! Knowing Tana, I'm not shocked by this, but it does complicate things a little bit when you're shopping for them. :)

Tana loves giraffes and Devin loves elephants, so the jungle nursery was a natural choice for theme. And if you remember me talking about their "rainbow sprinkle" wedding, you know they of course want lots of bright colors. Tana's sister-in-law threw a baby shower for her on Saturday, and especially since LB was leaving that day, I decided it would be worth the drive up to see their new apartment and to keep myself busy and distracted. I decided to sew a baby blanket for them, so the color choices had to be bright, cute, and gender neutral. This is how it turned out:

Thanks to my sweet sister for all her help picking out fabrics and patterns and cutting it out. :)

I'm so proud of it! What do you think?
