While I am sad to see a VERY short Portland summer go, autumn is always my favorite season and I am soooo excited for it this year! There are so many things I love about the fall, not the least of which is this gorgeous harvest moon and the incredible clouds, snapped in this quick photo off my apartment balcony. I love when the sky is dark but the moon is so bright it makes the clouds glow against the sky. So peaceful and beautiful! And did you know that tonight's moon is a rare occurence--the first day of autumn hardly ever coincides with a full harvest moon (called a Super Harvest Moon). There's your fact-o-the-day. :) Happy Autumn!
